@EGD: KPMP? That means the "Kate Project Management Plugin" from KDE3? (see
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=42653) ?

If this is the case, we removed this plugin in KDE 4. It was replaced by the
Projects plugin later. Meanwhile we arrived kind of at KDE 5... The KPMP plugin
is unmaintained and not developed anymore.
