After using an external display, all the thumbs in the window switcher are
missing. The "show desktop" item is using a image of the wallpaper that was
used in the external display. I cycled through various screen configurations,
ending at side by side, with laptop display as primary.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plugin in an external display 
2. Use it for a while, with the external as primary some of the time
3. unplug the external display

Actual Results:  
Thumbs in the window switcher are missing, and the "show desktop" item shows
wrong wallper.

Expected Results:  
Thumbs present, correct wallpaper in "show desktop" item

Intel chips, archlinux, Acer PC. Both a HDMI connection, adapter was used for
projector, and my TV has been connected as well with no adapter.
