can not get wifi to enable on a HP Pavilion 6000   kubuntu 14.04
wifi and mobile broadband icon is greyed out and says disabled, can not get to
enable.
and the light on front of laptop showing that I had wifi by  the wifi on/off
switch only will show amber on or off

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.try to connect to wifi
2.reset adapters connections and reinstalled drivers, I think they
reinstalled????


Actual Results:  
wifi and mobile broadband icon is greyed out and says disabled, can not get to
enable.
and the light on front of laptop showing that I had wifi by  the wifi on/off
switch only will show amber on or off and will not connect to wifi. I can
connect thur my mobile device but it will still show greyed out.

Expected Results:  
wifi, mobile broadband, and airplane mode: avalible to check off for enable and
uncheck for disable. If greyed out give popup reason why it is greyed out and
how to fix it in detail when mouse over greyed out icon.
