I'd like to see this too. It would be great if The Unarchiver was more widely
integrated. 

According to this documentation Krusader has support for RAR files
http://www.krusader.org/documentation/archives.html
"The Virtual file systems (VFS) allows you to browse archives as if it was a
directory. Currently Krusader supports the following archives types: ace, arj,
bzip2, deb, gzip, iso, lha, rar, rpm, tar, xz, zip, and 7-zip "

It says "currently" so it is unclear as of what version that support was added. 
In the case of RAR files your distribution probably does not install RAR
support (based on libunrar) by default so this functionality exists but you
might not be seeing it in your version of Krusader. 

Point is support for TheUnarchiver actually needs to be added somewhere else
(KIO? Karchive? I don't know) and then Krusader and other applications will
also see that functionality. 

Hopefully someone from the Krusader development team will read this bug report
and provide more information and let us know if a report needs to be made
against some other lower level part of KDE.
