you're running into focus stealing prevention and the usertime for the
non-destroyed closed window isn't set invalid nor updated (to be post the
konsole usertime, caused by the keypress), ie. some nasty window tries to steal
the focus while you're actually doing sth. reasonable in konsole.

i've been playing around w/ fsp to allow raising but keep the focus:

but what you se is not a bug, but a feature - fsp can be turned off or
overridden with a window rule.

to convince kwin to allow the new window to have the focus (on low fsp, extreme
won't let it through ever), update the usertime (or invalidate it) before
showing the window.
