I cannot swear on blood that KSnapshot is the only app with this problem, cause
I haven't tested all other apps, but "Save As" dialog in, for instance, Kwrite
works just fine, folders names are readable.
Default folders were created some months ago (November 2013) by the installer,
I am not aware of the exact way, but all KDE4 apps including KSnapshot display
them OK.
