            Bug ID: 330378
           Summary: battery plasma widget says no battery available
                    although solid device and plasma engine show battery
                    data
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: plasma
           Version: 4.11.3
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: widget-battery
          Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: bugs@bayz.de

The battery plasma widget does show the symbor for missing battery. The mouse
over says "Keine Akkus verfügbar" which means roughly "No batteries present".
This is however not true: there is a battery present in the Laptop (Lenovo
ThinkPad T430) , and solid device does now about it:

$ solid-hardware details /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0
Object::connect: No such signal
org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceAdded(QDBusObjectPath)
Object::connect: No such signal
org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceRemoved(QDBusObjectPath)
udi = '/org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0'
  parent = '/org/freedesktop/UPower'  (string)
  vendor = 'SANYO'  (string)
  product = '45N1001'  (string)
  description = 'Lithium Ion Battery' (string)
  Battery.plugged = true  (bool)
  Battery.powerSupply = true  (bool)
  Battery.type = 'PrimaryBattery'  (0x3)  (enum)
  Battery.chargePercent = 75  (0x4b)  (int)
  Battery.capacity = 97  (0x61)  (int)
  Battery.rechargeable = true  (bool)
  Battery.chargeState = 'Discharging'  (0x2)  (enum)

Also, the plasma engine explorer does report the battery data for the engine
powermanagement.

I am not sure why the widget does not pick up the data - to me it seems
everything is fine, the widget however does not see it...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KDE session
2. add Plasma battery widget
3. see that the battery widget reports no present batteries
Actual Results:
There is no convenient way to show the battery status.

Expected Results:
There should be a neat graphic in the tool bar showing me how much battery life
I still have (in percentage or any way at all).
