Hi Luca,

there are currently three different options to semi-automatize this:

* Settings->Configure Kate->Open/Save->Modes & Filetypes
* modelines http://kate-editor.org/2006/02/09/kate-modelines/
* and per directory .kateconfig files

Some of them might help you in your case.
