Bug ID: 329636
Summary: Panel steals focus and hotkeys don't work
Classification: Unclassified
Product: plasma
Version: unspecified
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: panel
Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
Reporter: benderamp@gmail.com
KDE 4.11.2 from fresh Opensuse 13.1.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Minimize all windows
2. Click on a panel.
3. Try to press alt+f2 to run krunner or any other global key.
Actual Results:
krunner won't launch.
Expected Results:
krunner should launch and other global keys should work.
This is quite annoying when desktop loads after login, because it seems that
the panel gets the focus by default, so global hotkeys don't work as if the
desktop is frozen until the mouse is clicked on center.
