If a user's first and last name were written fully in unicode, then they cannot
complete the registration process. The username has all unicode characters
stripped, and the user will be unable to select a username as none is shown.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Register for a new account with first and last name fully in unicode
2. Click on confirmation email
3. You're unable to finish registration
