XRender + native showed no sign of the memory leak, but my control test
afterwards with OGL2 + native is now negative too .... 
I tried restarting X, switching compositing on/off and still I can't get kwin
into leaking memory with the known bad setups again.

So I can't say for sure if XRender is affected or not.
