Note that this bug is very similar to bug #323701.

All crashes have the same pattern: running an application on a remote system
over ssh.  The concerned applications are synaptic, virt-manager and gparted. 
In all cases the remote applications:
 - run on a Debian wheezy system (not the same, though)
 - are GTK2 or GTK3 applications
In all cases the kwin crash occurs on my laptop which is an Ubuntu system.  The
network between my laptop and the remote host is not always the same (Ethernet,
Wifi, Wifi+ADSL).
