If you right-click the analyzer, you may choose a different visualization.
Usually the alternatives use less CPU time, at the cost of visual fidelity. The
default one has many bands and high accuracy, and as such it's difficult to
optimize it any further.

Of course this also depends on the OpenGL driver and GPU as well, which
ultimately does the rendering.
