I'm having almost identical problems with 4.10.5 on Gentoo 64-bit,
Kmail works.. but once it gets on the mail filter agent 0% it never goes away
without restarting Kmail. It doesn't appear to happen every time mail is
checked.
Filters being used (bogofilter+clamd) Starting with a fresh database/cache
appears to fix the problem until filters are re-added.
