            Bug ID: 326431
Summary: wrong symlink icons on the desktop after login
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: plasma
           Version: 4.11.2
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: desktop
          Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: Coding@Christian-Krippendorf.de

The icons for symlinks are wrong on the desktop after login. For example if a
symlink to the home folder and a custom icon (home-folder-icon from oxygen)
should be on the desktop, the symlink has the general-folder-icon. Not the
custom home-folder-icon. After moving the mouse over the symlink, the
general-icon is updated to the custom icon. (Hopefully understandable! :-D)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Set Plasma Desktop Layout to Folder.
1. Place a symlink on the desktop.
2. Change the icon to a custom one.
3. Logout & Login
Actual Results:
General Icons (Wrong one) for symlink till a mouse over.

Expected Results:
The custom icon should be displayed.

Don't forget to set the desktop layout to "folder".
