I select a picture and used the dialog from a right mouse click (copy F7 and
Move F8 Link F9) and only a link is generated for the copy and move functions. 
 I am at Linux eric-laptop 3.8.0-30-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 22 20:52:24

  HOWEVER  i can not verify that this worked before 3.8.0-29-generic

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right mouse to bring up function dialog
2. select copy (or move ) to
3. Target location contains only a symlink to the picture
Actual Results:  
Only a symlink back to the picture is produced

Expected Results:  
A copy of the picture in the target location
