I also just had a chat with amazon support about this exact problem and what I
got from them matched pretty much the description in the original report:

MP3 orders using the shopping cart are no longer supported, only one-click
orders are. Shopping cart orders don't go to your cloud player since only
digital orders go there. Order numbers of digital orders start with a "D"
whereas "analog" orders start with "303". So if you order through amarok, you
neither get a download link for the .amz file nor can you download them from
cloud player after.

Solution for me was as well to cancel the order and order them again using the
website.
