Yes. I removed the three checkboxes and replaced it with one general "Ignore
formatting".

When you're willing to break plugin BC, I might be inclined to change the way
messages are stored so that this kind of feature won't work so well.

And it does appear to be harder than expected to reproduce because apparantly a
lot of public XMPP servers filter out formatting anyway (kdetalk.net and
jabber.org included)
