I've improved the email indexing scheduling quite a bit for this 4.11 release
so this should hopefully be a lot better.

In terms of memory, you're stuck. That's not something we directly control,
that's a virtuoso thing. However, it seems as though virtuoso 7 (recently
released) has many improvements for reducing the database size, so that should
help. But I haven't really tested virtuoso-7 that much.
