Movie support is still incomplete, and AFAIK nobody is working on it right now.
 You are welcome to file bugreports if you found bugs.  Some of your problems
may go away if you switch to another phonon backend.

I find the message that movie15 is obsolete pretty premature.  media9 requires
flash support from the pdf viewer, and I don't see that coming in
okular/poppler any time soon...
