            Bug ID: 321481
Summary: Add an option to disable bytecode interpreter in
                    systemsettings
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 4.10.4
          Platform: Mageia RPMs
               URL: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1240
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_fonts
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: dglent@gmail.com
                CC: unassigned-bugs@kde.org

As you can see here:
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1240
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175

the bytecode interpreter breaks the font for a big number of users

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I would like to ask if it is possible to add an option to disabled it
Actual Results:
In systemsettings, there is the options about fonts, as to set the DPI or the
subpixel settings but not to disable the bytecode interpreter

Expected Results:
Have an option to disabled it

A developer in Rosa has made a patch for this:
