Piedro, I experienced this problem in the recent past, but I think I found a
workaround: I've noticed that the problem I'm experiencing is that the file
.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk/repository/main/data/virtuosobackend/soprano-virtuoso.db
grows out of control (more than 1 GB), causing the i/o to go mad reading and
writing to and from this file.
What that's happening, I simply logout from KDE and delete the file from the
text-mode console. As soon as I re-login, the file is recreated with a
reasonable size of 8MB.
Ok, it's an ugly workaround, but since I've performed this trick a couple of
times, my system seems more performing and I didn't need to do this anymore.
