            Bug ID: 319009
Summary: Client type (phone, etc...) indication in the text-ui
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: telepathy
           Version: git-latest
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: text-ui
          Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: kiagiadakis.george@gmail.com

I often find myself having a chat open with somebody, to whom I haven't been
talking for a few hours maybe and then I want to start chit-chatting with
him/her, but I am not sure if he/she is online from the phone or the computer.
On the phone, I most probably will be disturbing, so what I end up doing is
open the contact list, search for the name, look at the icon, close the contact
list. This is a bit annoying. It would be nice to have this indication in the
text-ui as well.

Similar thing happens if you don't have a chat open but you use krunner to open
it... contact-runner also doesn't have this indication, so you have to open the
CL again anyway.

Taking example from others, if you look at the G+ and facebook chat, whenever
someone is on the phone, his presence icon is just the phone. It is more
important I think to know this information, rather than knowing the presence.

Reproducible: Always
