Fedora uses /boot/grub2 instead of /boot/grub, I guess you are just using an
old version which doesn't detect this. Please upgrade to v0.5.8 and report
back. Distributions usually ship outdated packages, try picking the latest
version from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/kcm-grub2/
