New crash information added by DrKonqi

plasma-desktop (0.4) on KDE Platform 4.10.00 using Qt 4.8.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
dragging a widget (icon) from monitor 2 to monitor 1, monitor 1 was a grouping
desktop, monitor 2 is a grid desktop

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
widget disappeared before i actually crossed into screen 1, which may be due to
snapping settings, but not sure on that. I was actually not intending to drag
onto screen 1, since i knew this bug existed, but the icon snapped-over to
screen 1 on its own as i approached the edge of the screen where i was going to
place that icon. The grid desktop contained a few other icons and a plasmacon
while the grouping desktop had a couple tabbing groups and a grid group (not
near the offending edge, however, afaik), After the icon disappeared for about
1 1/2 seconds, the desktop crashed and went black as usual plasma-desktop
restarted and the bug assistant popped up.

- Custom settings of the application:
kde-addons package in use, not sure if plasmacon was part of that or if i
installed it on its own but its not related because i tried this without it on
a fresh install of kubuntu backports (4.10.0) and the dragging didnt work there
either (icons cant be dragged apprently unless you click on the toolbar and
drag them, which didnt happen in 4.8) I think this might be relevant too: there
are (for me in every install i have) TWO control bars for every widget i have
on the desktop. Weird thing is, sometimes one control bar will have less
controls on it and pop up on the other side but usually one pops up over the
other, which becomes very obvious when using transparent desktop themes. This
is a real eyesore too, hope someone fixes that (and the no-dragging the icon
directly feature)

footnote: i notice usually if both desktops are using the same type (both are
default, grouping, grid) this doesnt happen and the drag is successful although
its annoying when the icon is jumped to the other screen because half the time
the other screen is showing an always on top application or not on when i try
to save power... I believe I posted one of the original bugs about this when I
was using amd64 version (now im i386) thinking amd64 had less support, because
some choice programs were not running but i think the archetechture doesnt
matter in relation to this bug. hope that helps.
