The structure of these aac files could be also relevant. According to a fluendo
employee, which fixed their aac codec, the header does not start at the
beginning of the files, but instead after a short aac stream.

This confuses at least amarok, when it tries to write statistics into the file.
Don't know, if taglib is used for it. However one cpu core is completely loaded
for a few minutes until amarok starts the next track. But this is a bit
off-topic.
