What you're showing in that screenshot isn't LightDM, but KDE's lock screen
which is a different application.

Moving to the right component. 

On a technical viewpoint this is very do-able, and is one-dbus call. However
LightDM is not yet mandatory for KDE at the moment so  we need to support both
sets of features.
