            Bug ID: 315742
Summary: Apper crashed after failed update applet
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: apper
           Version: 0.8.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dantti12@gmail.com
          Reporter: sgallagh@redhat.com

Application: apper (0.8.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.10.00
Qt Version: 4.8.4
Operating System: Linux 3.7.9-201.fc18.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had just launched apper from the Kickoff Application Launcher. I was doing
this manually because of the unusual behavior I saw just prior.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
The system tray updater applet informed me that there were multiple updates to
run. I told it to go ahead, and it appeared to be working fine. A few minutes
later, it popped up with a message that an error had occurred and the update
had been canceled (looking at yum, it appears that all of the applications that
were expected to be updated actually were).

I then launched apper to manually finish the update, but it immediately crashed
with the backtrace attached to this bug.

The crash does not seem to be reproducible.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Apper (apper), signal: Segmentation fault
Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".
