Reading the names of people impacted by this bug, I infer we are all french
speaking... I wondered whether this could be linked to that, and changed my KDE
language to english : bug is gone !

Guys, can you reproduce this behaviour too ? If yes, there might be something
in the translation of the systray or notification plasmoid that confuses it,
I'll try to investigate further.
