Please note that sharing a single Amarok database across multiple different
hosts (in your case different Linux distros) is not supporter. At least not in
combination with the Dynamic Collection feature turned on (by default), see bug
273046.

It does. All Amarok 2.x versions support upgrade path from earlier 2.y
versions, so loading your (not corrupted) 2.4.3 database in 2.6 or 2.7 Beta is
fine and prevents any data-loss bugs.
