Fully reproducible with KDE 4.9.90 on Kubuntu 12.10, and it not only crashes
eventually but all the time, both with the rectangular and the freehand
section. This causes the complete GUI to freeze, I had to go to an external
shell to kill it.
Sadly no backtrace, as it is impossible to create one, not even with gdb.
The X server doesn't crash, though, so where should I look to get some useful
debug output?
