ah, i may even know what it is ... this probably requires a kconfig_update
script to not break upgrades.

to confirm ... open up ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals and put this somewhere in
the [General] section:

runtimePlatform=tablet,touch

then restart plasma-device (or reboot the device, whichever is more convenient
for you). if that fixes it, then i will need to do a kconfig_update script to
address the upgrade problem.
