Fork KDE? Sure, I'll get that done tonight. Seriously though, I think those
types of comments are silly. If I had the skill level to alter KDE to suit my
purposes, or fork it, I wouldn't need to submit bug/wish reports. Also, using
an inferior desktop environment is not a valid solution either.

You do make valid points, however. KDE is definitely great. But the cashew icon
is not necessary at all. But the cashew icon isn't my only complaint, there are
others (such as performance issues on both of my machines, but that may not be
caused by KDE). I still stand by my point that forcing the cashew on users goes
against the nature of Linux. Not everyone is a coder that can remove it
themselves, and they shouldn't have to be. If users don't want it, they
shouldn't have to have it.
