            Bug ID: 307350
            Blocks: 303462
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 4.9.1
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Disable 'run command' by default in Kickoff
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: wstephenson@kde.org
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
         Component: widget-kickoff
           Product: plasma

Similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221881, but this fix removed
only exact duplicates.

The 'run command' results of a search not be shown in kickoff by default; most
searches are for apps that are in the app menu, and this results in hit sets
like this
* Akregator (with Akregator icon)
* Run Akregator (with the generic gear icon)

Which is redundant and ugly. Either hide the 'Run Akregator' hit when a
service was found with the same command in its Exec field, or make showing
command line hits optional.

IF the user does want to run a command line program, there is no option to run
it in a terminal, so clicking the 'Run Akregator' hit should show the krunner
run command dialog, expanded with 'run in terminal' checked.
