            Bug ID: 306595
          Severity: minor
           Version: 4.8.4
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-null@kde.org
Summary: When removing external monitor all windows on that
                    monitor stay there.
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: ryujin_ssdt@yahoo.co.uk
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: xinerama
           Product: kwin

I have a lenovo x220 tablet laptop that I use with an external monitor. I
usually work mainly on the external (24inch) monitor and have all my working
windows there.

When I undock the laptop, thus removing the external monitor, all the windows I
had open on that monitor stay there. Even the new dialog box that appears
telling me that the monitor configuration changed appears there.

I can seed that because the taskbar shows the windows and selecting move on the
context menu I can move the windows to the laptop screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start your laptop with external monitor in dual head mode (no clone).
2. Open some applications and move them to the external monitor.
3. Disconnect the external monitor.
Actual Results:
All windows stay on the external monitor area making it difficult to see/access
them.

Expected Results:
Like in Unit3D all the windows on the external monitor should move to the
current display screen.
