even if you have hunspell installed does not mean you have selected one of its
dictionaries. That is why I suggest to uninstall aspell and unspell
dictionaries.

Unfortunately the dialog just shows eg "greek" but it doesn't show which
dictionary it is, so you may have 3 different greek dictionaries, and if you
select the wrong one then you are out of luck

All of this assumes this can even be fixed like this, but i've had some
indications from other users that it can.
