It works for me, but I've heard of others who have similar problems. It seems
to depend on the type of dictionary (aspell, uspell, hunspell). It not really a
calligra bug as far as I can tell.

Eventhough I close the bug, I'm very much interested in hearing if you find out
what goes on or otherwise have more info to share.
