well, it's actually not the screensaver ;-)

However, this is actually NOT a dupe since all others crash out of core
painting while you crash out of the fallback painting (likely because of the
uninitialized NPOT variable leading to the wrong "limited" assumption)

-> can you apply a patch?

"kwin_gles --replace &" will most likely work for you (just as the xrender
compositor)
