            Bug ID: 300268
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdm-bugs-null@kde.org
Summary: Option to only show the full user name (and hide the
                    login name)
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: Ronny.Standtke@gmx.net
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kdm

I'd like to use KDE in a setup with very young students. The students don't
know about the concept of separation between the (short) login name and the
(full) user name. Because they only know their own full name I would like to
have an option to hide the login name and only show the full user name.

The GNOME display manager already hides the login name and only shows the full
user name. I think in KDE this could be an option instead of being hard-coded.

Reproducible: Always
