            Bug ID: 299305
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Identity (display) name and avatar were not shown
                    correctly at remote site
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: franklin@goodhorse.idv.tw
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: telepathy

I set up an MSN/XMPP account. I set up the nickname in identity setting and
selected the avatar. Then I used KMess to login another MSN account, which had
the MSN account I set in telepathy in its contact list. At KMess, I could see
the avatar of the account, but the "nickname" was shown in "status message",
instead of his name. Then, when the two accounts were talking, I could not see
correct avatar and name in the kmess chat window. And vice versa: in
kde-telepathy chat window I could not see the correct avatar and name either.
