KDE3 could gracefully cope with the subject, so for me it's a huge step
backwards in usability and therefore is a bug, not a feature. Its .8 release in
KDE4 branch and this isn't resolved, yet. Windows also has no problems in such
configurations, in all versions.

Multi-monitor configurations are not uncommon, anymore, thus there is a benefit
of supporting it. Furthermore, I guess, supporting generic of 'Work Area
Constraints' can be beneficial  for additional activities.

Dear developers, what's the effort of implementing this... well... feature
(let's call it so)?
