It would not only improve the look of KGeography but also its content. Just the
other day, I noticed a map (regions of France) who lacked some of its over seas
divisions. So I picked up SVG maps for all of them and merged them in Inkscape.
After (re)coloring all divisions, I tried the exported PNG map in KGeography
where I quickly found a problem when clicking close to a border : the PNG
export had all kinds of nasty shaded squares along the black borders.

Making the map took me half an hour, not counting spending the better part of
an hour researching the problem to finally give up contributing.

So please, dear knowledgeable developers, help us.
