Bug ID: 295263
Severity: normal
Version: unspecified
Priority: NOR
Assignee: digikam-devel@kde.org
Summary: When tagging, "Writing metadata to files" messages
never clear from progress queue
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: jharris@30doradus.org
Hardware: Compiled Sources
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: Tags
Product: digikam
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.1) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/10.0.1
Build Identifier: Version 2.6.0-beta2
Whenever I tag one or more images, the action adds a job to the progress queue
with the text "Writing metadata to files". As far as I can tell, these jobs
never get cleared from the progress queue. For example, I tagged a number of
images last night around 8:00. It is now 12 hours later, and the progress
window is still full of these messages.
Note that the actual tagging happens almost instantly.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tag one or more images
2. Observe the "Applying metadata to files messages" in the progress queue
3. Note that they never disappear
