Summary: "~" shortcut doesn't work when locates at non-existent
path
Product: krusader
Version: 2.3.0
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: mg@fork.pl
ReportedBy: joe.skb7@gmail.com
Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux
There is no way to use "~" shortcut (to bring home directory) when Krusader
tries to load non-existent path (e.g. non-existent device, like flash drive). I
see just load mouse icon and have to reach home dir manually.
P.S. Maybe it is because of locked thread that tries to load non-existent
device and locks every other user operation.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Plug in flash drive
2) When it appears in Krusader disks panel -- open it (now you have opened and
mounted flash drive in Krusader)
3) Close Krusader
4) Unplug flash drive
5) Run Krusader
6) You can see that Krusader tries to find non-existent device (flash drive)
7) Try to press "~" key
8) It not works (locked thread?)
Actual Results:
Krusader don't changes current directory to home (~)
Expected Results:
Krusader must change current directory to home (~)
Temporary workaround is to use sequence of shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Left, Enter,
Enter
