Summary: Kmail2 & Akonadi lose mail on move from imap to local
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.7
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: folders
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: rigo@w3.org

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

A folder under an imap account. Take it with the mouse and drop it somewhere in
the local hierarchy. Chose "move". On verification, there is no (maildir-)email
in the ~/.local/share/.local-mail.directory/$PATH-to-folder-moved-to but kmail2
indicate that there are emails. Verification with Terminal shows that there is
no email in the imap-folder anymore. Now go to akonadiconsole and take the
local email service and click on "synchronize". The mail-folder that had a
second ago 1300 emails has nothing anymore. All gone. At the same time, the
email on the imap-server is also gone. No email anymore.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Reproducible? -- next time I try with a dummy thingy, but maybe someone else
wants to try in a sandboxed environment.

Actual Results:
Email gone

Expected Results:
Email there

I was on kmail2 KDE 4.8, but KDE 4.8 has a regression so that virtuoso-t takes
100% CPU that has been fixed in the past and correcting that means destroying
all metadata and all configuration (aka nuke .kde4 and .local and .config)
