Do you have any other programs running?  The crash you posted indicates that a 
Python program (hence scripted/interpreted language) was somehow the culprit. 
However, there are no Python widgets in the default setup, so if it would be 
possible, I'd ask for you if you could reproduce the issue under a new user 
account.
