that's only an indication not a proof. There are many things in between working
fine when compiled by the developer and a packaging bug.

Just to name one example: you most likely use debug mode while packages are
built with RELEASE.

I verified your claim now and took kdepim-4.7.2 and ran make install in
ktimetracker - which goes into /usr/local

/usr/local/bin/ktimetracker will give the same result - the part could not be
created.
