I noticed one other thing while collecting the backtrace. It is possible that
the problem is related to xneur that is also running on the system in the
non-autoswitching mode. When I stopped it, I could no longer reproduce the
problem. However, I did not see any issues with it in other applications, only
in kdevelop.
