Are you compiling your app with optimizations? Most probably the compiler
removes the empty clause and hence it does not exist. Meaning: it cannot stop
there either.

Anyhow, as this will also not be working inside gdb as run from the CLI it's
not an issue with KDevelop but instead on how GDB is working.
