Summary: Attach extenders of system tray icons to panel
regardless whether they are hidden or not
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: KaiUweBroulik2@hotmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

For example, you click the network mangement which I have hidden since I have a
cable and that's it. When I click the network management plasmoid by opening
the hidden system tray poup, the network mangement extender opens from above
the extender, so it floats in mid-air then.
Even worse is the device manager which is automatically hidden. A new device is
plugged in, then the extender appears floating on the screen and then the tray
icon appears.
It should be attached to the panel where the system tray is, regardless if it
is hidden or not, so it does not float in mid-air. So, you click the hidden
tray icon, the hdiden tray popup hides and the extender appears attached to the
panel.

Reproducible: Always
